Here are a few more images of the pieces I am working on my more show. I have spent everyday this week painting like a made women. I keep finding paint in my hair, on my neck, on my shins….
This one is all finished, I think.... I am still working on the title
This is the piece from my last post. I changed the dark brown to a medium tone orange. I think it works much better. The dark brown was too dark and disconnected from the rest of the image.
Here is the other piece from my last post, this one is almost done. I am just waiting from a little be more aqua to drip out of the jar, I hope I have enough to finish!
For this show I was trying to make some quieter paintings, but I couldn’t help myself, the rich pink and red were just begging me to use them!
I have a show coming up at the Water Street Gallery in Saugatuck, MI. Here are a couple of pictures of some pieces I am working on. The show opens on July 18th and runs for a month.
Almost finished.... I think....
I am trying some “quieter” color pallets out. They are inspired by my home colors. Hopefully it will inspire some purchases too! I think this piece is almost finished, maybe a couple slight changes but nothing drastic. This second piece is in the very early stages, but I have it metally finished already.
The layers are forming
A Palm Springs State of Mind 12"x12"
It is that time of year again in Saugatuck, benefit time. There are so many great organizations in our area and it is so great to be in a community that supports them all. The above piece, “A Palm Springs State of Mind” is a painting I just finished for the Saugatuck Center for The Arts benefit auction which is coming up in June. It will be part of a vacation package to Palm Springs, along with some other goodies. I love this painting, it is so California, the colors are so fun and bright!
A special request was made by MaryJo, my gallery owner. She wanted more Pocket Paintings. They went over very well this year, I only have 2 left from the first batch of like 40? I think. So I put my painting shoes on and buckled down and now there are 20 new pocket paintings. They are all going to Water Street Gallery in Saugatuck, MI.

i love have options with my clothing and accessories and nothing is better then a reversible bag. The Undecided Bag is perfect for anyone who changes their mind often and loves to change things up hour by hour. With just a quick flip you can turn the bag inside out for a whole new look.
check out the rest of these new bags under the handbags link
Inspired by my fashion forward niece, the Nathalie Bag is the perfect size tote to carry almost everything you can think of. It is large enough to hold your ibook but small enough that you don’t feel like you are carrying around a small suitcase. The Nathalie bags are $65 each. Two done, more to come.

Maybe it is just wishful thinking or maybe it is the thought of vacation on the horizon, but I can’t stop making bright bags. Check out the rest of them here.
new hipster slings!
I have been try to recommit my art work with the new year. I have sold out of pocket paintings for the time being, but hopefully witll have a new batch soon. In the mean time I am trying something new, and it has been fun to experiment again. I am calling them my “Lucky Charms.” They are similar to my “Pocket Paintings” but with a twist. I have been prepping a bunch of them, so check out the page to mix and match your own new grouping!
I thought they looked so pretty all stacked up like that.
