Handbags

That’s right, I am making handbags now. My line is called ARTSTAR and it is for sale at several boutiques in the midwest.  And now they are available here too. Most of my bags are one of a kind. The fabrics — all designer brands — are 100% cotton.  Some have also been imported from Japan and London. All of the prints are very vibrant and modern. I mix my fabrics like I build my paintings, unity by variety.  They are fun and fresh and will add a pop of color to any outfit.

I am offering my handbags at a discounted rate for the launch of my new webpage and for a splash of color during the cold winter months.

Nathalie bags are $60

Undecided bags are $50

 Hipster Sling bags are $75

 Berlin bags are $50.

Scout Sling bags are $60

Patchwork Scout Sling bags are $75

Bookworm Chic totes are $60

I am happy to work with clients for specific color requests. My handbags come and go very quickly, so please check back often to see what is new. Contact me via email with any questions or for purchase information.

The Berlin Bag $50

This super cute bag is made entirely of designer fabrics. It is fully interfaced and totally reversible so you get two bags for the price of one! What makes this bag special? Besides the fact that it is one of a kind and a show stopper on the street with its vivid colors and patterns, it is full of ARTSTAR details that set this bag above the rest. The Berlin Bag has pleating on both the interior and exterior, giving you the same polished look no matter which you choose to sport. The scribble stitching on the handles is not only functional, but offers a nice contrast to the perfect structure of the rest of the bag. Artstars don’t have to take themselves so seriously. Whimsical mixing of prints will definitely make this the bag you choose to punch up any outfit. I make every Artstar bag with care, giving you a quality bag you can carry and be envied for. The finished size of this bag is 12.5 inches tall by 17.5 inches long. Not too big but not too small. Spot wash with Woolite and cold water, and reshape with a hot iron. It is that easy to be Artstar chic!

Hipster Sling Bag $75

This is a huge hobo style bag by ARTSTAR. Again, it is made entirely from designer fabrics and is fully interfaced. This helps it keep its shape as well as hold everything you need. There is one interior pocket perfect for quick access to keys, cell phones, lipstick, or anything else you grab from your bag often. The size of this bag is really what makes it special. It is large enough to tote around everything you need for the work or school day. It can hold books, files or even a laptop, but in a hip way that other large bags don’t offer. There is a beautiful pleating detail on both sides of this bag, giving it a polished look that is sure to impress. Spot wash with Woolite and cold water, and reshape with a hot iron. It is that easy to be Artstar chic!

They measure 14″ wide by 12″ tall, from bottom of the bag to top of the strap it’s 23″.  This bag is available in two variations, patch work or printed. Each bag has a coordinating lining, and one interior pocket. They are each finished with a contrasting binding, this adds a certain tension in the color pallet and more visual interest.Spot wash with Woolite and cold water, and reshape with a hot iron.
